Business outline;  Darren Lewis owner/operator 3rd generation engine builder/machinist  has been in the performance engine business for over 35 years, doing all types of engines and machining ranging from blown small block chevs to turbo Nissan RB,s.

After finishing my apprenticeship with a well known adelaide engine reconditioner, i decided to start out by myself. From building drag race cars and later onto drift car developement this has given me the foundation to develop and build reliable race engines. In the latter years doing alot of antique motorcycle engines and vintage car restoration projects also moving along to diesel engine building.

My machine shop offers most processes needed to build a high performance engine with us specialising in machining and balancing to aid the home builder. In house manufacture of nissan RB rear head drains and race sumps.

Over the last years ive noticed people are very impatient and sometimes rude and threatening. In any instances such as this jobs will cease and be returned. I am usually pretty patient and treat people with respect until i am disrespected.

Patience and time with youre job is my deal ,i can sometimes get things done quick if urgent but please plan and converse ahead..

We are situated in Callington which is Melbourne side 70km out of Adelaide.

Lincoln TIG welder , mig welding, large 50 ton press, small shop presses.

Sunnen con rod hone-pin fitting,rod aligning,Harley Davidson rod sizing.

Superflow 600 flowbench and Flowcom, Furlan hot wash facilities, acid bathing.

Newen cnc valve seat profile centre,accurate seating and valve throating.
